Charlestown 10k is back for its 8th year and is organised by the CBD sports complex and the newly formed local athletics club, East Mayo AC CLG
Due to Covid 19 restrictions we will only be offering the one distance this year.
It’s a flat and fast course so a great opportunity to get a competitive run in. There is ample parking at the CBD complex (finish line) and the race starts just 400m away at the Mace Garage/National School. Athletes will meet at the National School where there is plenty of space to line out for a waved start. Unfortunately, there won’t be showers or refreshments available after the race this year. There will be a bottled water station at the 5k mark and at the finish line.
