Numbers & T-shirts
All race numbers and t-shirts have been posted out. Note that t-shirts have been posted out as per the size ordered online - we cannot swap t-shirts. Name changes to entries are now only possible on race day from 10am to 11.30am via Popup Races at Race HQ. Changes are not possible after that time. Please note that we will not have race entry available on the day.
Race HQ
Race HQ will be in Ultimate Conditioning, Oaktree Business Park, Trim. This is located only a few hundred metres from the start line. There will be portaloos available in this area, and there is space to warm up here also. Race HQ and the start area will be clearly signposted and marshals will be available to help direct you. Our thanks to Ultimate Conditioning for use of their facilities for Race HQ on Sunday.
Parking
The main race car park is in the OPW building - Eircode C15 NX36. Note that this is approx. 2km from the race start so please allow enough time to get parked and to make your way to the race. Cars will not be allowed in to the Business Park area from either Athboy Road or Dunderry Road. There is limited parking closer to the race but this will fill up quickly. Marshals will be around to direct you from the OPW to the race start, and there will also be portaloos located at the OPW car park.
Once the car parks are full, please use suitable on-street parking or any of the public car parks in the town. All on-street parking and public car parks are free of charge on Sundays. Please follow the instructions of our marshals with regard to parking - they are there to ensure that the traffic flows smoothly and that delays are avoided. Remember that they are volunteers who are aiming to help both race entrants and local residents. Please DO NOT park in residential estates or in shopping car parks such as Lidl or Aldi. It is your responsibility to ensure you park legally and safely. OPW car park will close at 3.30pm, so ensure you have removed your car by then. If locked in you will not be able to access your car until Tuesday.
Bag Drop
A bag drop will be available at Race HQ. DO NOT place bags on top of the walls around the inside of the Race HQ as they may fall down behind the void. Please note that neither the race organisers or Trim AC will accept any responsibility for items that go missing. Belongings are left entirely at the risk of the owner - do not leave any valuable items in the bag drop. Participants are not permitted to congregate inside the bag drop area.
The Race
The race starts at 12 noon sharp. The race is chip timed and will have a chipped start mat also - so please do not crowd the start, you will get an accurate recorded time for your race regardless of how far back from the start line you are when the gun goes. Your chip time begins when you cross the start mat.
There will be pacers for 70, 80, 90 and 100 minutes - they will be clearly visible. We will have a corralled start area to try and keep runners of similar ability together - so please group with the pacers closest to your expected finish time, even if you are not intending to run with them. For example, if you are expecting approx. 75 minutes, please locate yourself between the 70 and 80 minute pacers when we start gathering the crowds just before the race start time. We will have these groups clearly signposted.
There will be water stations at approx. 4.5 miles and 7 miles with small bottles. Water and bananas will be available at the finish line, and there will be a tea/coffee vendor in the area.
We will have race marshals at various points along the route - please listen to any instructions they might give you. They are there to help ensure the safety of all participants. We would strongly discourage the wearing of headphones as, while we will endeavour to limit/divert traffic as best we can, we cannot guarantee a completely traffic free route, so there may be traffic from time to time. Please be cautious especially around bends in the road.
Post-Race
Please remember to collect any belongings you may have left in the bag drop and dispose of any rubbish you might have (or bring it home). We cannot hold items which people do not collect from the race HQ after the race - they will be disposed of.
Toilets
Portaloos will be available:
⦁ close to Race HQ (finish area)
⦁ at the race start area
⦁ at the OPW car park
Please use the facilities provided and DO NOT use surrounding buildings as a toilet - respect our neighbours and our neighbourhood businesses.
Bins
There will be bins close to Race HQ/finish area - please be considerate and use the bins for all litter or take your litter home with you.
We look forward to welcoming you to Trim for our race - best of luck and enjoy the day!
NOTES RE PARKING
We are delighted to welcome you to the Trim 10 Mile Road Race on Sunday, February 1st, 2026!
With over 2,000 participants joining us, we want to ensure you arrive stress-free and ready to race safe. Please consult the information below as you’re travelling plans can save you time, mitigate traffic congestion in the town and reduce the overall carbon footprint.
Arrive Early
The race will start at noon. We recommend you aim to arrive in Trim at least 1 hour before the race start. An hour will allow you sufficient time to make your way from any car park to the race start (via the bag drop) and provide time to warm up before the race. Please take care crossing roads as you make your way to the Race HQ, using pedestrian crossing points where available.
Race Number postage / Transfers
All race numbers were sent in the post over 2 weeks before the event. An Post do their best to deliver them all in a timely fashion but we expect that a small number will not arrive. If your race number has not arrived, you can collect a spare from the race HQ on the morning up to 11:15am. Your race pack will eventually arrive in the post (either with you or back with Pop Up Races, who will then resend the top to you). Therefore there are no spare tops available on Sunday, please do not request one.
Number transfers are allowed right up to 11am Sunday morning. It is the responsibility of both parties doing the transfer to ensure the physical race number is given to the new particpant.
Respect the Locality (Litter)
We are privileged to run through such a beautiful area. We ask all participants to respect the locality and strictly avoid littering on the course. Please carry your litter to the finish line, take it home, or use the bins provided at the race start and finish areas.
Travelling to Trim by Public Transport
Public Transport Services to and from Trim on race day:
- 111 & 109B Dublin – Trim – Athboy
- 189 Enfield – Trim - Navan

Car Parking Information
There is designated race parking for approximately 500 cars. In addition, there are public car parks and coach parking in the town. It also minimises the impact on local people not directly involved in the event.
