The inaugural Tinryland Village half Marathon will consist of three 7k laps bringing through the gorgeous countryside of Tinryland. The event takes place in rural Carlow, 2 minutes from the M9 exit 5. An exciting, fun, competitive half not to be missed!

All runners will receive a t-shirt and medal, there will be special unique championship belts for the male and female winner. Ample parking available on the day. The starting/finishing place will take place in Tinryland village.

Important Race Information
Number pick up
Registration will take place in Tinryland Parish Hall R93 TR98 on May 2nd Friday evening between 6pm & 8pm.
Registration will also take place the morning of the race in Tinryland Parish Hall between 8am - 10am!
Parking 
Runners are encouraged to park at Tinryland GFC R93 YA78 which is a short pathed walk to the race start line. There will be marshalls along the way.
While there is limited parking in Tinryland village, the cars that park there will be subject to the road closure which lifts at 2pm
Race 
The race starts at 11am sharp, all runners must be registered before this. The race will consist of three laps, and the marshalls will direct you around the route. There is four water stations on the loop with portaloos in Tinryland village.
Facilities
Tinryland GFC has male and female changing rooms, showers and toilets. There is also portaloos and water stations in the village.
First Aid 
Order of malta will be on site, so if you need medical attention please alert the nearest marshall to you and they can contact the emergency services vehicle. In addition to this, there will be cycle marshalls who will be continously moving; if you feel unwell please alert them.
Reward 
All runners will receive a medal and a t-shirt. Tinryland GFC bar is open from 1pm if any runners want to have a delicious pint afterwards.
