ONLINE REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED

Brand new event in county Roscommom coming July 28th and 29th 2018.

The Ros Run, Sliabh Bawn allows you to pick a distance and run either Saturday July 28th or Sunday July 29th OR there is an option to run BACK TO BACK races (same distance) over both days.

It will be a looped route with breath-taking view of the surrounding counties amongst the forest on a compact gravel finished road. This route starts and finishes up on Sliabh Bawn mountain which is located on the Lanesboro to Strokestown road, 10 mins from Roscommon town.

Sliabh Bawn is now the home of a wind farm providing sustainable energy provided by board na Mona and Coillte.

Slieve Bawn is a small but highly significant mountain set among the lakes and flatlands of eastern Co. Roscommon. This gives a view of approx 250kms – almost coast-to-coast – one of the widest in Ireland.

27th Jul – 6.30pm – 8.30pm

28th Jul – 7.30am to 30mins before race

28th Jul – 6.30pm-8.30pm

29th Jul 7.30am – 30 mins before race

Water stations will be provided on the course and finish line.

Hot food for all participants after the race.

All finishers will receive a t-shirt and a medal.

 

NOTE RE NUMBER POSTAGE: Number postage option available on all race entries (€2.50 surcharge). Please do NOT select this option if registering in the immediate 7 days before the event. Your number will not be posted, and you will not be refunded. (Example – race takes place on Sunday 8th, last day for registering for guaranteed postage is Sunday 1st, 7 days previously)
