This is a perfect race to add to your preparation for The Dunshaughlin 10k

Runners & Walkers will enjoy this 5 mile race which will be run through glorious Meath countryside on quiet country roads. A scenic varied course, we think you will love the long downhills, short up hills and tree shaded, grass centred lanes of Culmullen.

42k t-shirts for the first 100 runners registered on line for this chip timed race only.

Registration online ,€15 or from 11am on the day at the school €20.

 

This year we have a 1 km race open to primary school attending children over 8 years old.

 

The race start time is 12:30 and will be run on the road.

Medals for all participants

For this race you need to register here and also sign in at the school before 11:30 on the morning of the race

 

  Live music after the races in the school hall by Colm Kelly

Home-made Refreshments will be available to all participants after the race.

Culmullen Run
Instructions to participants.
First things first!! Here is the Eircode: A85 AY77
Please get here on time.

  • Don’t put yourself under pressure. You will have to allow time to get parked, register, and make you way to the start.(1km from parking)
  • Parking will be in Burke’s field and you will be directed there on your arrival.
  • Please take direction from our experienced stewards and get parked quickly.
  • Car pool if possible and remember to leave the field as you found it.
  • Once you are parked make your way to registration at the back of the school.
  • Registration opens on Sunday morning at 11am. (just after mass). The race starts at 1pm
  • If you already have your number there will be a table for T-shirt collection (first 150 registered only).
  • The Popupraces staff and Culmullen Run registration staff will help you to get your number and with whatever information you need.
  • The start of both the 1Km junior race and The Culmullen Run are 1 kilometre from the finish at the church.
  • These two races do not start in the same place.
  • If you have young Olympians running in the junior race, be aware that it will take you 10-15 mins to walk from the Church to the main race start and you cannot guarantee pole position for your own run.
  • Listen for announcements directing you to make your way to the start line.
  • Once you arrive at the start area please take direction from stewards and be aware that there may still be light traffic in that area.
