Athletes must be 15 years of age on the day of the race to take part in the 5km.

Thank you for registering for this years Streets of Portloaise 5k Road Race, we cannot wait to welcome you to our event on Sunday. The Race is also the first round of the 2024 Peugeot Race Series.
Please read the following details carefully ahead of the day.
- Number pick up from 8:30 - 10:30am at the Midlands Park Hotel, Portlaoise. Eircode R32KV20
- T Shirts for the first 400 registered can also be picked up at this time.
- There are multiple parking options on the day, namely at the Midlands Park Hotel (this is paid parking), on street parking nearby or Kew-Lew Business park which is a 5 minute walk from the hotel.
- Please note that the race starts at 11am sharp, and the startline is 5 mins walk from the hotel. Please be at the start no later than 10:50am. The start is out the Mountrath Road. Exit the hotel by the front entrance, turn right, left onto the N80, then right at the roundabout at the R445. The start will be marked with large Peugeot Branded Flags
- The prizegiving will take place in the Midlands Park Hotel at 12:15pm.
- Prizes for Top 5 m/f as well as first 40,45,50, 55 and Juniors. Course record bonuses of €500 male and female also on offer thanks to Peugeot Ireland.
- Results will be available in live time at www.popupraces.ie.
We are down to the last 50 places in the race, so we do expect it to sell out. If you know anyone one the fence, get them to sign up as soon as possible!!
