EVENT POSTPONED-UPDATES TO FOLLOW
This year’s Run 4 Life event will be held on Sunday 15th of March with 5k and 10k distances.   Both races will start at 10.00am.  The event will start at St Laurence O’Toole’s track. 

 

All 5/10k participants will receive a newly designed bespoke medal for 2020.

10k Entry – €18*

5k Entry – €12*

*Excl online booking fee

 

On the day registration opens at 8.30am in the clubhouse. 

 

Refreshments will be served afterwards in the clubhouse.

 

Prize structure:  

1st, 2nd, 3rd in both 5k + 10k.   

Age Category Prizes announced on the day.

 

ABOUT OUR CHOSEN CHARITY:

The Carlow & South Leinster Rape Crisis Centre,
Counselling Centre for Sexual Violence and Rape
The Carlow & South Leinster Rape Crisis Centre, Counselling Centre for Sexual Violence and Rape situated in the heart of Carlow town at 72 Tullow Street and has an outreach service by appointment in Athy and Kildare Town. The Centre provides a free, professional counselling and support service to survivors and those supporting survivors of all forms of sexual abuse and violence, while also working actively through education and awareness towards a society where sexual violence is no longer tolerated.
The Centre provides a safe environment for survivors of sexual violence. All staff and volunteers deeply understand both the realities of sexual violence and the impact of all forms of sexual violence.
We endeavour to offer a varied suite of services which include:
• A confidential counselling service and out of hours’ service by appointment that is sensitive to the needs of survivors of sexual abuse
• Support for those supporting survivors of sexual
• Crisis telephone line
• Couples counselling, family support and group support
• Creative/play therapy
• KAS (Knowledge, Awareness & Safety) education and awareness programme.
• One-off awareness and education talks as requested
• Outreach services provided in Athy and Kildare town
• Distribution of information leaflets and our ‘Sticker Campaign’ to schools, libraries, doctor surgeries, restaurants, theatres, cinemas
