A beautiful running event on the banks of the Royal Canal. Flat and fast, ideal for a good time.

The Royal Canal Run Longford race on Saturday, 22 April 2023 includes a 53km Ultra Marathon, Marathon, Half Marathon and 10km distance.

The course is a 5.2km loop of the Royal Canal Longford. It is a flat fast route on a mix of tarmac and tightly packed gravel.

Longford is ideally located in the Midlands with easy access from all over the country.

 

Start Times:

  • 8:30am (Ultra marathon and marathon participants who will be over 5 hours)
  • 10am (Full marathon & 10km)
  • 11:30am (Half Marathon)
