Rathcoffey Fun Run are delighted to welcome you back for our Annual 10k on February 3rd, 2018 at 11am.

Starting on the grounds of Rathcoffey GAA and setting out for the quiet country roads, running with  a backdrop of Rathcoffey Castle and returning to Rathcoffey GAA. Overall, a generally flat route with some small rolling hills; perfect for those looking to achieve those sought after PB’s on an AAI measured route.

Well marshaled and with excellent facilities before and after, this event is perfect for those that wish to start the year in a healthy and enjoyable way. There will be parking, changing and showering facilities available for all competitors, along with post race refreshments in the hall after the event.

Registration and number pick up will take place from 9am at Rathcoffey GAA, with the race starting at 11am sharp. Technical t-shirt included with all online registrations. Keep an eye on the Rathcoffey Fun Run Facebook page for more info.

WAIVER DECLARATION:

I understand that participating in this event is potentially hazardous, and that I should not enter and participate unless I am medically able and properly trained.

In consideration of the acceptance of this entry, I assume full and complete responsibility for any injury or accident which may occur while I am traveling to or from the event, during the event, or while I am on the premises of the event.  I also am aware of and assume all risks associated with participating in this event, including but not limited to falls, contact with other participants, effect of weather, traffic, and conditions of the road.  I agree that no liability what so ever shall attach to Rathcoffey G.A.A. CLUB, POP UP RACES, Race Sponsor, any Race Official or any Member of Rathcoffey G.A.A. CLUB in respect of injury, loss or damage suffered by me in or by reason of the event, however caused.

Participants in this Event are not covered by the GAA Injury Benefit Fund.  Each individual should ensure that they have cover in place in the event of an accident as per their own individual requirements.

Use of IPods / Similar Devices

The organisers strongly advise against the use of an Ipod / Earphone or a similar device whilst participating in the event. You may not be able to hear instructions or safety warnings from our stewards. Be aware that even closed roads will have course vehicles and Emergency vehicles passing competitors. IF YOU CANNOT HEAR, YOU ARE IN DANGER.
