2nd Annual St Clare’s hospitality Kitchen “Outrun Hunger “5k & Fun Run /Walk & 10K 2025

Whether you are an elite athlete, club or fun runner you can help the St Clare’s hospitality Kitchen “Outrun Hunger” this Autumn ,lace up your sneakers and let’s help our neighbours experiencing food insecurity! For every €2 raised, we can provide a meal to those in need!

The course is 95% flat, The course route can be viewed from August 28th  

The 5k race sold  out last year, and this year we have added a  10k  also, so get your entry in early to avoid disappointment.

There is a magnificent souvenir tee shirt & Medal for all participants.

Date: Saturday, October 18th , 2025

Registration and starting Line Location: Carlow Rugby Club, Oak Park , Carlow R93 RX25

 

  • 8.00 am   Registration Opens
  • 9:30 am Registration Closes
  • 45 am   Warm up
  • 10:00 am. 5k Race Start  ,U18s must be accompanied by an adult at all times
  • 10.10 am.10K Race Start , Strictly over 18s

Refreshments & Prize Giving , Carlow Rugby Club, following races

Entry Fee : 

10 km adult (over 18s Only) : €35 (Commemorative Medal & Performance T-shirt )

 

5km adult : €25 (Commemorative Medal & Performance T-shirt )
5km under 16 : €20 (Commemorative Medal & Performance T-shirt )
5km Family 4
Two adults + 2 children under 16 : €70 (Commemorative Medal & Performance T-shirt )

Registration includes(Commemorative Medal & Performance T-shirt )

Note :

  • Medals only on competition of race ………
  •  (register by October 3rd to guarantee a Performance T-shirt in your size)
  • Optional:Race number and tee shirt delivery for €6 (Highly recommended).
  • Optional tee-shirt collection prior race : Rugby Club Carlow , Friday  the 17th of Oct  between 2:00pm  and 7:00pm.

Note An additional 7% eventmaster booking fee is applied to entries

Chip Timing: Chip timing by Pop-Up Races

Bag drop: There will be a bag drop at Rugby Club if required.

Water station:   will be on hand at the start and  finish line to supply water in pre-filled reusable Bottles in line to promote a sustainable event.

Whether you are an elite athlete, club or fun runner you are now  helping  the St Clare’s hospitality Kitchen “For every €2 raised, we can provide a meal to those in need!

We want to make your experience as positve as possible so here are a few notes to make the morning go well for you

 

  • Weather is a bit dull may be a shower or two on Saturday but I think we will be all well home father dunphy  is on our side
    • There will be water stations at the start thanks  to REL who are gifting a water bottle for every one registered and also along the route .
  • Car parking is in Carlow Hurling Club  Car park 1 & Rugby Club Car park 2 , stewarts will guide you .
  • Registration In Carlow Rugby Club  for your race number must be done before 9.30am , 

 

 

    • registration desks are marked clearly in the Rugby Club house
  • T Shirt Collection is on the rugby grounds itself. station will be marked , please present your race number for  T Shirt collection
  • Please note there is different start locations for 5k and 10 k please listen to the advice of Marshalls they will direct you to the start locations
  • 5 k start race line up at 9.45am keep left
  • 10k start race line up 10am  keep left
  • Please stay walking or running on the LEFT  at all times this is critical to safty  .
  • Once completed please show your number and  collect your well deserved finish medal at the medal station once completed the Race you are a chapion 
  • Refereshments for all on your arrival back to Carlow Rugby club House 
  • Award cermony 11.30 on main stage
