The Annual Noel McManus Run/Cycle returns on Good Friday, 7th April 2023 starting at the beautiful surrounds of Lough Rynn Castle, Mohill, Co. Leitrim.

Start Times:

  • Cycle commencing at 11.00
  • Half marathon commencing at 11.15am
  • 10k/5k run/walk commencing at 11.30am

Walkers will not be chip timed or receive a tshirt.  If walkers wish to be chip timed and receive a tshirt, please register above under the 5k or 10k option.

Thank you for registering for the Noel McManus Run/Cycle 2023 which takes place on Good Friday 7th April.
Below is some information to help you make the most of the event.
• What time does the race start?
The race will start at 11am sharp for cyclists, 11.15am for half marathon and 11.30am for 5k/10k.
• Where does the race start and finish?
The race starts and finishes outside Lough Rynn Castle Hotel, Eircode: N41 WE16.
• Where do I collect my race number?
Race numbers and T-shirts can be collected at Mohill GAA Clubhouse N41 HP64 between 7 and 9pm
Thursday or between 9 and 10.30am Friday at Lough Rynn Castle Hotel, N41 WE16.
• Where can I park?
There will be free parking available at the back of Lough Rynn Castle Hotel. There is also some car parking spaces available in the quarry carpark at front of the Hotel. This will be suitable for those doing the half marathon as cars cannot be moved until after the race.
• Will the roads be closed?
The roads won’t be closed so please follow the instructions of the Gardai and race marshals and be mindful that safety is paramount for all involved.
• Will the course be marked?
The race route will be clearly marked and marshalled along the way and and there will be markers at each kilometre on the 5k & 10k and each mile on the half marathon.
• Are there toilets & showers available?
There are toilets available in Lough Rynn Castle Hotel and there will be a toilet at the start line and also half way on the half marathon route.  There are no showers available.
• What prizes will be awarded?
Trophies are awarded for 1st, 2nd 3rd male & female in each event and also for juvenile in the 5k. Trophies for the 1 st female and male Over 40 and Over 50 in the 5K, 10K and Half marathon.
• When and where will the presentations take place?
The trophy presentation will take place immediately after the race near the finish line.
Refreshments will be provided in the Ballroom of Lough Rynn Hotel.
• When will the results be available?
As the race is chip-timed, your result will be available straight away and full results will be available in live time on www.popupraces.ie
