KTRTC are  delighted to announce that the TP Waters  SEAT sponsored 12k & 6k runs will take place on Saturday 7th December at 10.00am.

 

This will be a beautiful run around the Curragh Plains starting and finishing at Kildare Business Park.

 

1st, 2nd 3rd prizes.  Spot prizes too.

 

The run will is chip timed so it really is an event for either serious runners or the contented amateur enthusiast .

 

There will be ample car parking spaces available.

 

Hot chocolate and marshmallows will be served after the race.

 

Santa Claus may pop along for a visit if he’s not too busy adjusting naughty & nice lists!

 

Registration online only: €15 for 12k, €12 for 6k (excl booking feees).  No on the day registration.

RACE DAY DETAILS:

  • The 12K will start at 10am sharp with the 6k at 10:10. There will be a race brief for all runners at 9:40 in the Boxing Club car park.
  • There's free parking in Kildare Educate Together National School, we would ask you to use this and not to park elsewhere. Also parking is limited so try to car pool where possible. 

     

    Number collection will be available from 18:00 to 20:00 on Friday and from 08:30 on Saturday morning in St Brigids Boxing Club which is race HQ. If there are any problems at registration we will have a team there to sort them out for you.

     

    Medals , chocolates , water and bananas will be given out after the race when you cross the finish line.

     

    There will be a water station on the 12K route only.

     

    It is an offence to litter so please do not, if you have a bottle use one the of the bins provided or drop it at one of our signs on the route.

     

    There will be some rolling road closures on the day but always be aware of traffic. Expect the unexpected.

     

    We would ask to run on the right and follow the marshals instructions.

     

    There will be portable toilets on site. The toilets in the Boxing Club will be open and we ask everyone to respect the facilities.

    This year our chosen charity is the Motor Neuron Disease (MND), we will be making a donation to this charity and there will also be collection buckets on site should you wish to contribute to same also.
