The Ferbane AC 5k Road Race returns on Sunday 8th May 2022 at 10am.

 

This is the third race in the 2022 Offaly Road Race Series.

 

On the day registration will be available at Gallan Community School from 08.30am

 

Entry fee €10 plus booking fee.

Prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd finishers, Male & Female.

Age category prizes for 1st O40, 1st O45, 1st O50, 1st O60 and 1st O70.

Please note: Juveniles 13 years to 16 years are permitted to run in the ORRS but are not eligible for any prizes.
*Juniors must be over 16 years and under 20 years. A junior can score on a club team.

Thank you for registering for Ferbane Athletic Clubs 5k Road Race – Round 3 of the Offaly 5k Road Race series 2022

Below is some information to help you make the most of the event.

MOST IMPORTANTLY-IF YOU RACED IN TULLAMORE or BANAGHER, PLEASE BRING YOUR RACE NUMBER FROM THAT RACE TO FERBANE.

ONCE YOU HAVE THAT, YOU DO NOT NEED TO DO ANYTHING ELSE BAR GO TO THE START LINE. THERE IS NO NEED TO CHECK IN BEFOREHAND.

• What time does the race start?

The race will start at 10am sharp - please allow 15 minutes to get to the start line from the registration area.

• Where do I collect my race number?

Unless you have already paid to have it posted, race numbers can be collected at registration in Gallen Community School on the morning of the race from 8.30am.

If you already have your race number you do not need to activate it before you race. Just go straight to the start line.

• Where can I park?

There will be ample free parking available in the grounds of the school

• Are there toilets available?

Yes there are toilets available at the registration area.

• What prizes will be awarded?

Prizes will be awarded as follows:

1st €100; 2nd €70; 3rd €50 – Male and Female

1st o40 €50; 1st o45 €45; 1st o50 €50; 1st o60 €50, 1st o70 €50 – Male and Female.

1st Junior €30

• When and where will the presentations take place?

The prize giving will take place immediately after the race at the school.

• When will the results be available?

As the race is chip-timed, your result will be available straight away and full results will be available online soon after the race ends on popupraces.ie
