Following on from its huge success for the run in 2024 & 2025, The Clonakilty 5 Mile is a welcome addition to the Cork running calendar and will be held for the 3rd time ever on the 25th of January 2026. This race gives 100% of its monies raised to local charities and has raised approximately 40 K to date since its inception. The run/walk will commence in the Clonakilty Park Hotel, taking the runners down the idyllic Inchydoney Road and over the first Causeway, past the Clogheen Cottages and back to the Clonakilty Park Hotel for finish line refreshments. Runners & Walkers all welcome. Race Start Time 10am.
Please note that any vests or tee-shirts ordered MUST be collected at Race Registration which opens at the Clonakilty Park Cinema on Saturday 24th January from 7-9pm and Sunday 25th of January from 7.30 AM. As this is 100% a charity event, organisers will not be posting out any merchandise.
