The Cairn Hill Challenge will take place on Sunday May 1st. This will consist of a 5km, a 10km and a 10mile run with the magnificent Cairn Hill acting as a backdrop to each event.

 

This is truly going to be a great event and is open to runners, joggers, walkers, and all abilities.

 

This event is in association with Gaels United FC.

 

Refreshment will be served in the community centre.

Below is some information to help you make the most of the event.
• What time does the race start?
The race will start at 12:30 sharp.
• Where does the race start and finish?
The Challenge starts from the Community Centre Hill Rd Drumlish, Co. Longford
• Where do I collect my race number?
From Drumlish Community Centre from 10:30am
• Where can I park?
There will be ample free parking available at Drumlish Community Centre. There is also street parking in Drumlish with a short walk to the Centre.
• Will the course be marked?
The race route will be clearly marked and marshalled along the way and there will be markers at each Kilometer.
• Are there toilets & showers available?
Yes there are toilets, changing rooms, showers available on-site at Drumlish Community Centre.
• What prizes will be awarded?
There will be trophies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd Male and Female in each race and medals for all participants.
• When and where will the presentations take place?
The prize giving will take place immediately after the race in the stadium green area.
Refreshments will be served in the community centre afterwards also All athletes will receive a drink and some fruit at the finish line.
