Below is some information to help you make the most of the event.

RACE NUMBERS:

  • MOST IMPORTANTLY-IF YOU RACED IN ANY OF THE PREVIOUS 5K RACES, YOU CAN USE THAT RACE NUMBER IN THIS RACE. LIKEWISE, AND OF THE GREEN OFFALY NUMBERS USED IN THE ASHLING MURPHY 4MILE CAN ALSO BE USED HERE
  • IF YOU HAVE MISPLACED YOURS, COME TO REGISTRTION WHERE A NEW ONE WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR YOU
  • ONCE YOU HAVE THAT, YOU DO NOT NEED TO DO ANYTHING ELSE BAR GO TO THE START LINE. THERE IS NO NEED TO CHECK IN BEFOREHAND.
  • **Pop Up Races VIP / Number for Life bibs can also be used

• What time does the race start?

The race will start at 8pm sharp - please allow 10 minutes to get to the start line from the registration area.

• Where do I collect my race number?

Unless you have it already, you can pick up from 6pm at Roscrea Rugby Club

If you already have your race number you do not need to activate it before you race. Just go straight to the start line.

• Where can I park?

There will be ample free parking available in the rugby club

• Are there toilets available?

Yes there are toilets available at the registration area.

• What prizes will be awarded?

Prizes will be awarded as follows:

1st €100; 2nd €70; 3rd €50 – Male and Female

1st o40 €50; 1st o45 €45; 1st o50 €50; 1st o60 €50, 1st o70 €50 – Male and Female.

1st Junior €30

• Is there a water station?

Yes, there is a water station at 2.75km point

• When and where will the presentations take place?

The prize giving will take place immediately after the race at the clubhouse, where there will also be post race refreshments

• When will the results be available?

As the race is chip-timed, your result will be available straight away and full results will be available online soon after the race ends on popupraces.ie
