Thank you for registering for round 2 of the Healthy Offaly 5K road race series hosted by Banagher AC which is taking place on Sunday 7th April 2024.
Please read the following information carefully:
**THE MOST IMPORTANT RULE - KEEP THE RACE NUMBER YOU GET TOMORROW AND USE IT FOR ALL RACES YOU INTEND TO RUN IN THE OFFALY ROAD RACE SERIES. STORE IT IN A DRY PLACE (CAR GLOVE BOX) AND PUT IT ON WHEN YOU ARE RACING. DO NOT THROW IT AWAY AFTER THE RACE!!**
- Parking is available in Banagher College R42 WR22 and adjacent in Banagher Primary Care Centre and you can collect your race number in Banagher College from 8.30am to 9.30am on Sunday.
- Parking is also available at St. Rynaghs GAA R42 TY83 for those who have their bib number from the last race. Toilets and warm up facilities are available here. Approx 5 minutes from the start line.
- The race starts approximately 1km (10 minute walk) from Banagher College at R42 T389 at 10am. Please allow yourself time to get from Banagher College to the start line.
- Refreshments will be served in Banagher College post race.
- Presentation of prizes will be immediately after the race in Banagher College.
- Prizes will be awarded as follows: 1st €100; 2nd €70; 3rd €50 – Male and Female. 1st O40 €50; 1st O45 €50, 1st O50 €50; 1st O60 €50, 1st O70 €50 – Male and Female. 1st Junior Male & Female €30. Course Record prizes are also up for grabs.
- As the race is chip-timed, your result will be available straight away and full results will be available online soon after the race ends on popupraces.ie
- Pre/post race recovery services will be available from OTG recovery from 9am. OTG recovery have kindly offered a free session in the boots or a sports massage to the male & female winner of the race.
