- Note re postage of race packs. Packs were posted on Tuesday, September 2nd to al that paid for postage. If it has not arrived by Friday, there is no need to email the organsiers. Ho to race HQ on the morning and you can get a replacement number. Full particpants list avalable here, if your number has "collection" listed, you did not select the postahe option and therefore need to collect (collection details further down this page).

- Car parking has been made available as follows:
- For traffic from Limerick, please park in the public car park on Park Road and walk the short distance to the start line. Easiest option for quick access in and out of Charleville. Location link below
- For traffic from Cork, please park in the Charleville primary care centre located on the right after Inver service station. Easiest option for quick access in and out of Charleville. Location link below
- There is also parking at the Dunnes shopping centre (entrance on Bakers Road) from 7:45am, however it can become very congested. (Map below).
- In addition, there are a limited number of spaces on the grounds of the race HQ (GAA hall on Bakers Road). For wheelchair users, there are dedicated spaces available directly outside the race HQ/check-in area.
- There is also parking on Main Street where available.
- We would ask that you take direction from any traffic stewards on arrival if parking near to Race HQ. Please note that there is NO PARKING on the grounds of St. Joseph's Foundation. Any cars parking here will be unable to exit until the completion of the race after 1pm.
- Toilets are available outside race HQ/check-in area, and at the entrance to St. Joseph's foundation. On the course there will be a toilet in Kilmallock opposite the 6.5 mile water station.
- The Race HQ number collection (and race tops if purchased) area will be open from 6pm to 9pm on Saturday evening and then from 7:30am on race day. All athletes must have been processed through here by 9:30am at the latest. You only need your name, (plus club and age category if required). You will be assigned a race number once you check-in with your details. You can line up at ANY desk to get your race number
- There is a bag drop off area available inside race HQ hall.
- Pacers will be available at 5 minute intervals from 80 minutes up to 140 minutes. In most cases they will be wearing distinctive yellow pacer singlets and balloons. There will be signage along the road at the start line to give you an approximate area to stand for the start, depending on your expected race time.
- Be aware that the roads throughout the course are closed, but there is always a possibility that a vehicle can find its way onto the road.
- A water station will be positioned at approximately 3 miles, 6.5 miles, 10 miles and at the finish line. Please DO NOT crush the water bottle when finished as charities will be collecting these to redeem the recycling fee. There are bins around the water station but if not visible, please drop them at the side of the road and not into hedges.
- On the approach to the finish line as you enter St. Joseph’s centre, there are humps on the road. Please take care.
- Water, fruit (bananas & oranges), and protein bars are provided at the finish line. There are separate recycling bins and waste bins at the finish line. Please help us by keeping separate. Then head to the medal collection area and then on to refreshments in the hall.
- There are refreshments and food being served in the hall at the finish line.
- Prizegiving for the top 3 finishers will take place in the hall, at the finish line. All other prizes will be posted the following week.
- There are NO pacing bikes allowed on the course alongside runners.
- Most important of all......the race starts at 10am outside the NCT centre at the top of Bakers Road.
