The Celbridge A.C 5k Summer Road Race takes place on Thursday 21st August. With the race starting and finishing at our cub, it has proved to be a very flat and fast course over recent years as the course record has been smashed twice in 3 years. Our race is open to runners of all levels so register today for what will be a great nights racing. There’s a free race T-shirt for the first 300 entries and a great spread of after race treats, see you in August!!

Celbridge AC would like to thank you for registering for our 5k road race for 2025, and we are very much looking forward to welcoming you to our club. A few notes below to be aware of ahead of Thursday evening

1 - Race starts at 8pm sharp on Thursday 21st August

2 - Online Registration will remain open until 60 mins before race start time, you can register on the night for €20, CASH ONLY

3 - Parking is available in the 2 schools beside our track, we will have marshals on hand to direct you. If the 2 schools fill up, you can park in the Celbridge Manor Hotel which is 900m from the track. We would ask local runners not to drive where possible

St Wolstans Community School & North Kildare Educate Together National School

4 - You can collect your number on Wednesday evening from 7-8pm, or on race day from 6pm in our training centre at our track

5 - You can transfer your number on the night, but only through the correct channels (i.e. speaking to a member of the registration team). Those found running under a different name having not gone through the official channel will be disqualified from the race

6 - The winning team will be the first club team home of 2 men and 2 women. If any of the first 4 home for a club are running under someone else's bib/name, that club will be eliminated from the club team competition. Responsibility to ensure you are correctly registered rests with you.
No amendments to entries will be allowed after 7.45pm on race night
7 - The race starts directly outside the gates to our club, and finishes with one loop of our track (Don't forget the one loop), full race route is available on our social media pages8 - The first 300 registered are eligible for t-shirts, and the size will be as per your selection at purchase. Please don't ask for a t-shirt if you didn't get in the first 300, we don't have spares and we have none for sale

9 - Presentation will take place at 8.45pm in our training centre & after race goodies will also be available

10 - Rye River Brewing will also have a mobile bar providing refreshments so hang around afterwards and enjoy the atmosphere
