Whether you are an elite athlete, club or fun runner, the Cork City 10k is the race for you!
The course is 95% flat, scenic with the 2nd half of the race is on the flattest and straightest section of road in Ireland. The course route can be viewed at Cork city 10k course route

The race sells out every year, and this years 10k will also be extremely popular, so get your entry in early to avoid disappointment.
There is a magnificent 42k souvenir tee shirt for all participants.
RACE INFORMATION
Race Date: Sunday the 17th of August
Start Time: 09:30am
Start line: Outside the main gate of Fitzgerald`s Park, the Mardyke, Cork City.
Finish line: The Lee Fields, on the banks of the River Lee, adcacent to The Kingsley Hotel.
Entry Fee: €31.95 (includes a uniquely designed 42k t-shirt and EventMaster booking fee).
Non Athletics Ireland members: An additional €2 fee is applied, which goes directly to Athletics Ireland.
Optional: Race number and tee shirt delivery for €6 (Highly recommended).
Number & tee-shirt collection: The Kingsley Hotel, Saturday the 16th of August between 10:00am and 5:00pm.
There will be NO collection of numbers or tee-shirts on the day of the event – It is highly recommended that you opt for the delivery option especially if you do not live in the Cork area.

Chip Timing: Chip timing by Pop-Up Races
Bag drop: There will be a bag drop at The Kingsley hotel if required.
Water station: Refill Ireland will be on hand at the finish line to suppily water in pre-filled reusable cups in line with the St. Finbarrs AC ethos to promote a sustainable event.There are no water stations around the course.
The mens course record: Is held by Sean Tobin of Clonmel AC in a time of 29.49
The ladies course record: Is held by Shona Heaslip of An Rioct AC in a time 32.27
