Clane AC are delighted to welcome you to our clubs 4 Mile Series, comprising of a 4 Mile Trail Run in Donadea Forest on Thursday, June 19th at 7:30pm and the Clane AC 4 Mile Road Race taking place on Friday, September 12th at 7:30pm.
These are two events not to be missed, and are open to walkers and runners of all abilities.
You can enter one or both events, and by registering for both, you will get a 10% discount as well as a free event tshirt.
We will have prizes for first home (Men and Women) and also a prize for first (Men and Women) Clane AC members.
Donadea Trail Race – See Donadea Forest like never before! Trail shoes recommended (it’s not a route for Vaporflys!) as participants head away from the castle and onto the trails around this beautiful forest park. There will be an U16’s event ahead of the main event, on a shorter trail.

Please read the following information carefully ahead of the event. If we havent answered your questions below, our default answer is "Come to the van by the finish line on the night and we'll get you sorted!"
Barrier will be up from 6pm at the forest. If you arrive before then you will need to pay a €5 entry charge.
- Number and Tshirt pick up from 6pm in front of the castle at Donadea Forest.
- The Venue is Donadea Forest Park
- From the carpark, you are walking past the new toilets and down towards the Castle, where you will see our Van & Tent as well as portaloos.
- The start line is in front of the castle and the event will start at 7:30pm sharp.
- There is no bag drop, so belongings should be left in your car and are left at your own risk
- The route is a mixture of path and trail but is predominately trail, which for the most part is single file with tight turns. It is Donadea Forest like you have never experienced before, and will be lots of fun. We ask that you take care throughout the event, follow the directions of the marshals, and enjoy it!
- As it is a public park, we want to keep it as clean as possible.
- Anybody seen littering in the forest will be immediately disqualified and asked to step off the course.
- On completion of the race, there will be refreshments in the green area in front of the castle.
- As we advise at every event in the forest. don't pay too much attention to your GPS which could have you running anything between 3.8 miles and 4.2 miles!
