The Sean Connolly GAA Club, Ballinalee, Co. Longford invites you to our 3rd annual obstacle run on Saturday October 28th, starting at 10 00 am. We are renowned for the most natural and scenic course in the country.

It is geared towards both the serious competitor and the individual who’s up for a laugh and you can try our Extreme Mud 10k or our Super mud 6k run, so there really is something for everyone!

We are giving away big prize money for October Mudfest:

  • Fastest  team will receive €1,000.
  • Fastest individual Male and Female will receive €500 each

I understand that I enter the Sean Connollys GAA Club and October Mudfest at my own risk and that I undertake to ensure I am medically fit to participate and that I wear appropriate personal protective equipment as per my personal requirements.  I understand that participating in this event is potentially hazardous, and that I should not enter and participate unless I am medically able and properly trained. 

In consideration of the acceptance of this entry, I assume full and complete responsibility for any injury or accident which may occur while I am travelling to or from the event, during the event, or while I am on the premises of the event.  I also am aware of and assume all risks associated with participating in this event, including but not limited to falls, contact with other participants, effect of weather, traffic, and conditions of the road. 

I, for myself and my heirs and executors, hereby waive, release and forever discharge the event organizers, sponsors, promoters, Active.com and each of their agents, representatives, successors and assigns, and all other persons associated with the event, for all my liabilities, claims, actions, or damages that I may have against them arising out of or in any way connected with my participation in this event. 

Weils / Leptospirosis Disease The race venue is a working farms, which is home to a wide variety of plants and animals, both domestic and wild. As the course involves running through ponds and rivers, Sean Connollys GAA Club encourages October Mudfest participants to know the symptoms of Weils / Leptospirosis Disease, which is an acute infectious disease spread by infected wild and domestic animals. If you develop any symptoms after the event you should see a medical professional immediately.   By accepting these Terms & Conditions, you agree to the risks associated with running through the natural habitat of these plants and animals.
