The race will loop back around finishing at the starting point.  Taking place on quiet roads, it’s a fast route ideal for PB’s.

Both races will start at Lumville Cross, heading toward the Curragh Camp, taking a left before the Curragh Golf Club heading toward Donnelly’s Hollow. At Donnelly’s Hollow take a right turn toward Blackrath. Where the road splits for Blackrath, the 5k will turn back. The 10k runners will continue onward past Braveheart Hill, past the firing ranges. At the T junction take a right turn towards Brownstown, there will be marshals at the turn back point.

We will have a lead bike so no one will get lost, unless you decide to take a run across the plains!!!

There will be a water station along the way (tbc).

We would urge all of our junior members to get involved too as the 5km is open to walkers and runners of all abilities.
